The Halloran Trust: Warren Halloran’s vision

100 years of local history: The Hallorans

Warren Halloran, who established The Halloran Trust in 2012, believed the best way to protect the local environment in perpetuity and contribute most effectively to its future prosperity is through the sustainable development of the Trust’s most suitable land holdings in the area.

The Hallorans have a long history in the Shoalhaven region. The family’s connection to the area spans more than a century.

Henry Halloran was born in 1869 and over the course of his life, he purchased considerable land holdings in the Shoalhaven region and beyond. Though it was ultimately never realised, Henry envisioned the “Pacific City” near Jervis Bay, and he worked hard to progress various land developments in the region which many local residents now call home.

Warren Halloran was Henry’s son and shared Henry’s love for the local Shoalhaven environment and community.

Both Henry and Warren Halloran developed many townships throughout the Shoalhaven region including Culburra Beach, Callala Bay, Callala Beach, Vincentia, St Georges Basin, and parts of Sussex Inlet. Today, the residents of Culburra Beach and Callala Bay reside on land delivered by interests associated with Henry Halloran.

However, Warren had a different vision for the balance of the vast expanses of land his father had bought. In 2012, he formalised both The Halloran Trust and Sealark to benefit and protect the local environment and deliver important property development outcomes which would contribute to the region’s housing supply as well as its future social, economic and environmental prosperity.

Warren passed away in 2020. Through the work of The Halloran Trust, and the sustainable property developments of Sealark, his local legacy lives on.

Creating communities that offer housing choices in a way that benefits the local environment and promotes the Shoalhaven region’s future prosperity

Today, these townships are loved by residents and visitors alike.
